Treatment options for acne scarring

When a patient comes to the clinic for acne scarring treatment, we first want to make sure there is no current acne. Once any active acne has been addressed, we have many treatment options for acne scarring. Usually you will be given a treatment regime consisting of a combination of different treatments.

These treatments will be designed to improve the appearance of acne. This may be done by stimulating new collagen production to even out skin texture, as well as laser or IPL to help with red or brown scarring. As all cases are unique, we ask you to come in for a consultation so we can advise you on the best way to approach your acne scarring treatment.

Microdermabrasion and Peels: These exfoliating treatments may be combined into your regime to assist with improving your acne scarring
