Melinda Hammond

Melinda has been in the health and beauty industry for over 30 years. She has continued to complement her extensive knowledge and experience in the anti-aging and medical industry with ongoing training and education.
Melinda is highly qualified in her field, holding a Bachelor of Nursing degree, in addition to holding a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and Diploma of Dermal Science. Melinda has held her QLD Radiation Laser License since 2018 and been practicing alongside Dr Candler to deliver the best results for our Patients. Some of her favourite treatments are the UltrFormer MPT HIFU and Fotona Laser Treatments.
Melinda, who is originally from Sydney, is fascinated with skin health and the rejuvenation process, as well as slowing down and reversing the ageing process. When Melinda is not working she likes to play with her lovely Son and new Puppy Chester.
Clare Candler
Registered Nurse / Bachelor of Nursing / Graduate Diploma of Critical Care Nursing / Trainee QLD Radiation Laser License / Cosmetic Injectables
Clare has worked in the nursing profession for over 15 years. She has a keen interest in dermal nursing and facial rejuvenation.
As an RN Clare assists Dr Candler with many of his skin cancer surgeries, and she also performs many of our PDT treatments. Clare is passionate about dermal therapies and loves treatments such as the Secret Duo RF micro-needling and ER-Glass 1540 for light facial resurfacing. Clare has helped many of our patients achieve natural-looking anti-ageing results with laser facial rejuvenation treatments and anti-aging medications. Clare regularly participates in ongoing education, attending national and international skin cancer and cosmetic medicine conferences.
Clare also works part time in the Intensive Care Unit at the Cairns Hospital. She has a gorgeous little girl called Harriet and dedicated partner Travis.
Holly Oosen
Dermal Therapist / Dip. Beauty Therapy / Intense Pulse Light (IPL) / RF Micro Needling
Holly joins us from Mareeba, she has worked in the beauty and skin health industry since 2009. She has also been an owner of her own beauty salon. Holly's passion is all things skin care, and therapies. Holly possesses a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and is trained in a variety of Dermal Therapy treatments such as Intense Pulse Light (IPL), Radio Frequency ( RF skin needling). Holly also loves doing peels and lash/ brown tinting.
Holly continues to attend training workshops and training to be sure she is up to date with the latest and most advanced cosmetic products and treatments. She is passionate in helping her clients achieve positive results and overcome any issues they have regarding their skin.
Away from work Holly has two young children and third on the way.
Tiffany Taillardat
Senior Medical Receptionist
Tiffany has not worked long in the medical health industry but is she a wonderful addition to the Skin Alert Team with excellent communications and a passion for patient care and dermal therapies.
Tiffany has a wonderful knowledge for the many products, services and treatments at Skin Alert Cairns. Her favorite treatment being our New UltraFormer MPT Ultra HiFU Booster.
In her spare time Tiffany likes to play with her nieces and nephews, cook gourmet dishes, travel and relax with her Partner while camping.
