TightSculpting™

TightSculpting™ is a unique, non-invasive laser treatment that combines two procedures in one for body sculpting and skin tightening on all areas.

A laser gently and safely heats the target tissue to remodel and rejuvenate the treatment area.

At the same time, the laser tightens the skin by synthesising new collagen which results in an overall improvement of contour, laxity and elasticity in the treated areas.

Laser Body Contouring

Our Fotona laser works via bulk heating methods to refine the contours of your body. It is a great treatment option for women's tummys after pregnancy. Combining the powerful effects of 2 laser wavelengths, TightSculpting™ treatments are a 2- step procedure whereby the fat layer is first heated to stimulate cell death of fat cells.

They are naturally removed by the body following the treatment. In the second step the laser is targeting the superficial and deep layers of the overlaying skin to restore tightening and tone to the area.

Each person is different but you can expect minimal to no discomfort during the procedure. Immediately following treatment you may experience some redness or minor swelling that will diminish after a few hours. You can resume your daily activities immediately, but if you elect to have a more aggressive treatment, you may experience a day or two of redness. Some people also report minor dryness in the area in the following days which can be moisturised regularly to reduce.
The laser safely and rapidly heats up your skin, targeting its energy to the level beneath the surface to tighten and rejuvenate the area. The fat cells absorb this heat and if they get past a temperature threshold they will enter a state of natural cell death called apoptosis, which the body then removes via natural pathways.
The first step of the treatment consists of deep heating over the desired treatment area. Initially you may feel a gradual warming and after a few minutes you may experience some very brief hot sensations. The overall feeling can be similar to a hot stone massage or a dry sauna. The second phase involves more superficial heating. Depending on the treatment area, the heat generated is slightly more intense but still very tolerable. Post treatment your skin will feel warm to the touch and may be pink or even red for a day or two.
Results will vary with every individual. Most patients will see immediate tightening followed by a gradual change in contour as your newly refreshed skin tightens. You will require multiple treatments spaced at fortnightly intervals, this will be discussed and explained during your initial consultation. You will also greatly maximise your results by using compression garments in conjunction with TightSculpting™.
